Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using this website, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. SiS | Science in Sport | South Africa reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice. Any changes will take effect once published on this website.

Product Information & Availability

We make every effort to ensure that all product descriptions, images, pricing and other information displayed on our website are accurate. However, errors may occasionally occur, and we reserve the right to correct any inaccuracies without prior notice.

The display of a product on our website does not guarantee that the product is in stock. Should an item become unavailable after your order has been placed, we will contact you to arrange a suitable replacement, backorder or refund.

Placing an Order

When placing an order, you will be required to provide accurate billing, delivery and contact information.

After submitting your order, you will receive an acknowledgement that your order has been received. This acknowledgement does not constitute acceptance of your order. A binding agreement is only concluded once payment has been successfully received and your order has been dispatched.

Please do not submit your order more than once if you do not immediately receive an order confirmation. Technical issues or email delays may occasionally prevent confirmation emails from arriving promptly. If you are unsure whether your order has been received, please contact our Customer Service Team before placing another order, as duplicate orders may result in duplicate charges.

Pricing

All prices displayed on this website are in South African Rand (ZAR) and include Value Added Tax (VAT), unless otherwise stated.

We reserve the right to amend pricing without prior notice. Price changes will not affect orders that have already been accepted and paid for.

Delivery

All orders are processed within one business day of receiving confirmation of successful payment.

Courier delivery costs R99.00 to major city centres for orders under R1,000, with FREE delivery on orders of R1,000 or more. Deliveries to outlying areas are charged at R169.00. Additional courier charges may apply to certain remote locations.

Orders are typically delivered within 2–4 business days, depending on the delivery destination. Delivery times are estimates only and SiS | Science in Sport | South Africa cannot be held responsible for delays caused by the courier or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Deliveries are made during normal business hours. Please ensure that someone is available to receive and sign for your order.

Clearance Stock

From time to time, SiS | Science in Sport | South Africa may offer clearance products or promotional specials.

Where applicable, the product page will clearly display the product's Best Before (BB) date.

A Best Before date relates to product quality and not food safety. Products are generally safe to consume after their Best Before date when stored correctly, although flavour, texture or appearance may gradually decline.

Unless a product is faulty, damaged or incorrectly supplied, clearance items are not eligible for return or refund.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, SiS | Science in Sport | South Africa shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from the use of this website or the purchase of products through it.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits any rights afforded to consumers under the South African Consumer Protection Act or any other applicable legislation.

Force Majeure

SiS | Science in Sport | South Africa shall not be liable for any delay or failure to fulfil its obligations where such delay or failure results from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, transport disruptions, power outages, government restrictions or other force majeure events.

Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes arising from the use of this website or the purchase of products shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the South African courts.
